Recently, we received three items for repair. The customer first called to ask if they could be repaired well, with quality guarantee and price. After a phone call, they sent them over the next day. The repair colleagues also arranged for inspection immediately upon receiving them. After a low-pressure inflation test, it was found that these three products could not be sealed at all.

Disassembly: After opening it, it was a bit too brutal. Of the three middle sleeves, two of them burst. After analysis, there are roughly two reasons. One is that there are issues with the product design structure parameters. The second reason is that the customer did not pre-press or reserve when using it.

Solution: For this design structure, check the parameters. The maximum outer diameter of the sleeve is 76mm, and the inner diameter of the U-ring is 70mm. The wall thickness of the product made in this way is only 3mm on one side. It is very easy to break under the impact of external force. If the bottom of the rod also breaks at this time, the rod will fly out directly, which will cause serious safety accidents. This will cause harm to people and things around.

Safety design is no small matter; it concerns people's lives. Designers, producers, purchasers, and users should all take action together. Everyone can be a guardian of safe production.
